THE FEAR THAT KEEPS YOU STUCK (And How To Break Free)

When you want something to change, you have to be willing to do something different.

For the last 10 years, I’ve wanted to get stronger, fitter, and healthier. I’ve worked out, eaten “healthy,” tried fasting, keto, vegan, paleo—you name it. But no matter how many things I tried, I wasn’t seeing real, lasting change.

I told myself stories about why I wasn’t getting the results I wanted:
➡ “I don’t have time.”
➡ “I don’t know what will work best.”
➡ “I’ll start fresh next week.”

And so, I stayed stuck in the same cycle.

Then last Monday, something changed.

I started working with Liv, my new personal trainer. Her first question? “What’s your goal?”
Because real change doesn’t come from just trying things at random—it comes from a plan designed to get results.

Liv created an integrated plan for me—covering food, workouts, supplements, recovery, hydration, everything my body needs to reach my goals. And suddenly, the things I thought would be too hard—avoiding sugar, getting to the gym, sticking to a structured plan—aren’t nearly as difficult as I expected.

The truth? I had spent years convincing myself that change was harder than it actually is.

How This Relates to Your Baby’s Reflux

At the end of last year, I spoke with dozens of mums about why they hadn’t yet enrolled in my programme to solve their baby’s reflux.

And do you know what the biggest barrier was?

It wasn’t money.

It was the fear that they wouldn’t be able to follow through.

These mums—mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted—believed that helping their baby would take more time and energy than they had left to give.

And it broke my heart. Because I knew that in just 2 hours, they could have a clear plan.

Yet, fear of failure kept them stuck in suffering.

I get it. Because I’ve been there, too.

It’s scary to take action when you don’t trust the outcome. It feels safer to stay where you are, telling yourself “it’s just how things are.”

But here’s the truth: Doing nothing guarantees nothing changes.

And just like my health journey, when you finally take the leap, you realise it’s not as hard as you thought it would be.

BUTTER ISN'T BAD!

What struck me most about the comments on this reel is the total confusion in the world about what's really healthy and what's not. So many people saying this is dangerous because "fat causes cholesterol" and that children given butter will develop heart issues. 

The fats, the science, actually speaks directly against that. The children most at risk from obesity, heart disease and high cholesterol are those who get too much refined carbohydrates... not good quality fats. Bear in mind, this hack will not help your baby sleep if they are being woken up with reflux and digestive pain, so I can still help you get that sorted first!
